Laying special emphasis on Language development, we have Language Lab that helps our learners to acquire a deep understanding of English Language with lessons in Pronunciation, Voice modulation, Etc. The excellent teacher-escorted transport facility is available on scheduled riutes for HDISians. Approximate timing for each bus stop on various routes for our buses is given in the route chart

Pupils are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities in the belief that this is an essential aspect of their overall education and complementary to their academic development, both of these components being essentials inpreparing our students for life. HDIS is committed to an education that extends beyond the confines of the classrooms. Exemption from games can only be granted on produce of a Medical Certificate. The conventional sports offered are Skating, Handball, Karate, Athletics, Vollyball. The ' Annual Sports Day ' gives an opportunity to the students of all classes to exhibit their talents and supporting spirit. The school has a regular games period in the class time-table for all the classes.
 

Adventerous activities are a part of school curriculum. Students are sent for educational and recreational excursions and picnics. It helps the students to enhance their knowledge about the culture and lifestyle of other places and also help them to grow in confidence and maturity. Such trips provides first hand experience as well as entertainment.
